FAMILY - THE ELIXIR
While college life is fervently exquisite, doesn't it always resonate, "Home sweet home" ?
There exists a connection, an elixir amongst us
Diffused in every cell, felt in every chamber of our heart.
Ignominious would life be without the elixir’s fuss
Altruism, love, friendship, ardour; our bond’s integral part.
Like Galactic clusters, who us enseigne
Fantastico! Mom’s mouth-watering Lasagne.
Really, it’s a grandiloquence of thoughts
A melting pot of archipelagos , we are all
But yes, autonomy resides with mom and dad , not us all !
How would this change with the passage of time ?
Anticlines or Synclines? I have run out of a rime.
From my brother’s punches to my granny’s cheerios,
I wake up to tune into mom’s radio, dad’s stereo.
Feeding my sparrow whom I call Emily
She is one of us; our family.
When I now ponder about Aristotle’s fallacy
I really miss the time, the elixir, the legacy.
Sadly all good things come to an end.
I indeed have to now, make amends.
