Unmasking her elegy

A rune I had penned on lines of  women safety, something that has been bothering us since times immemorial... She walks down the boulevard, Shivering, afraid of possibly getting scarred. For her safety, pray there be no darkness, may the sun never set Hoping she reaches home without being sensed by the criminal’s net.   The little girl, blithe, boisterous and excited for a frolic day, So naive and exuberant, she loves to bask in the sun rays. Those innocent eyes know not mulct, cupidity and cruelty, To bequeath a stranger’s candy filled with malicious avarice and vanity.   The maid who washes dishes for a penchant household Her loyalty towards her ‘master’, a sight to behold. Little does she gauge the rapacity and venom in her employer She is forced against her will and wishes in the foyer   Why does she have to quiver, shudder to board a train alone?
